Kyle Farnsworth had his suspension reduced from three games to one by Major League Baseball following an appeal by the Yankees reliever, the Associated Press reported Friday.

Alex Rodriguez completed his first injury rehabilitation workout on Friday at the Yankees' Minor League complex in Tampa, Fla., taking batting practice and fielding groundballs at third base.
